Celtic: Ange Postecoglou confirmed as new coach, former Socceroos boss, soccer
Former Socceroos boss Ange Postecoglou has officially been confirmed as the new manager of Scottish football giant Celtic.

Postecoglou will join Celtic on a 12-month rolling contract after recently leading Yokohama F. Marinos to their first J-League title in 15 years.

Rumours of a move to the Scottish Premiership had been swirling for several weeks, with today's news putting to bed any doubt as Postecoglou gets set to call Glasgow his new home.

During his tenure with the Socceroos, he led Australia at the 2014 World Cup, steered the Socceroos to the Asian Cup title and capped off his work by guiding the green and gold to qualification in Russia 2018.

“Celtic is one of THE names in world football, of that there is no doubt, a giant of a club, a proper footballing institution and so much more. Real history, real substance, real authenticity and real soul.
